We tend the tiny young plants and seedlings in our growing grounds until they’re ready to come up to the retail part of the nursery — and out into your garden. Except for the youngest or most tender veggies and succulents, we grow everything outside, so it’s ready for life outdoors in Northern California.

Unlike the big box stores, we grow as sustainably as we can: no bloom-forcing chemicals or growth regulators, and people power and tools rather than herbicides for the weeding. We have a thriving population of birds, frogs, lizards and toads — and we’re hoping the bats notice the bat houses any day now.
